Academic Achievements
As one of the largest A Level Centres in China, RDFZ ALC provides students with an unparalleled choice of subjects. Students also benefit from being able to choose the subjects that they study so that they can take subjects that match their talents and interests. With access to 17 IGCSE and A Level subjects, students have the opportunity for early specialisation in subjects for which they wish to develop a deep body of knowledge or they can, if they wish, have a broad and balanced programme that mixes Arts, Humanities and Science subjects. Students are prepared for the prestigious Cambridge International Examinations at IGCSE and A Level.
Our stated aim is to prepare students for future study at universities overseas. The teaching at RDFZ ALC is focused on enhancing students’ academic abilities and preparing them for future studies. Another distinctive feature of the curriculum is that many students have the opportunity to study Global Perspectives. This course compliments the more traditional academic subjects and develops reading, writing, research and academic essay writing skills. We believe that these are the key skills are necessary for successful study at university and will give our students an advantage when they start their courses.
We are a young school but our unique educational philosophy and student centred approach to learning have already been recognised by top universities overseas, and we have quickly gained an excellent reputation. Our first cohort of graduates had a 100% acceptance rate from universities in the UK, USA and Canada.
