In this vast and intellectually diverse school, it comes as no surprise that the students here perform academically well. RCF Experimental School is one of many schools that offer ‘Cambridge Assessment International Education’, which happens to be the world’s largest provider of International Education. And just recently, on the 24th of October, RDFZ hosted the Cambridge Assessment International Education ’ High Achievers' Awards Ceremony.

Following that, Yin Chang, the Area Manager of East Asia, Cambridge Assessment International Education welcomed the parents, award winners, and teachers. She also noted that this had been the third time RCF Experimental School has hosted the CAIE Award Ceremony. Finishing up, she welcomed Jinping Yang, the Vice Principal of RCF Experimental School to give his opening remarks.

Janet Morris, the Director of International Network, Cambridge Assessment International Education was also among those who attended. In her speech, she noted that ‘Cambridge International Education’ had changed its name to ‘Cambridge Assessment International Education’ and proceeded to discuss Cambridge and its aims in students’ lives and their education. It was said that the aims of Cambridge reach far beyond our examinations; it also aims to enhance our thinking ability and prepare us for the real world.

The honored guests were called one by one to the stage, so were the students. Firstly, students who had earned a High Achievers’ Award were called upon to the stage, and handed their respective certificates and medals. Following that, students who had scored the highest marks in China were given their prizes. And finishing up, the students who had scored the highest marks in the world were called and handed their awards. It came as no surprise that almost half of the students scoring the highest marks in the world achieved awards for their outstanding performance in Mathematics. Two of them were students of RDFZ, having achieved the highest marks worldwide for AS Mathematics.

As the ceremony reached its end, a group photo of all the high achievers was taken.

It was indeed a day of celebration, where proud parents and teachers all gathered to witnessed the hard work and effort of these students being rewarded with such recognition. Hopefully, in the coming future we will be seeing more of RDFZ’s residents scoring high grades and accepting such awards.
